ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Changes are coming to downtown Albany's Art Park.
Downtown Manager Sharlene Cannon says they would like to add grass and fountains inside and replace glass doors with something different to cut down on vandalism.
She also wants to have artists paint permanent murals around the sides.
"It could be such a wonderful place, and it started out as a very nice place, but we have visions of it becoming a really nice place for downtown, and we want to see it evolve," said Cannon.
She said they may close the park temporarily while the improvements are being done.
There's no timeline yet for when the work might start.
