VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Valdosta Police are trying to figure out whether a Valdosta man was stabbed and why after he took himself to South Georgia Medical Center Tuesday afternoon complaining of pain in his arm, which he claimed was the result of having been stabbed multiple times.
Valdosta Police Department Lieutenant Aaron Kirk said 47 year-old Frederick Bradley's injuries were not life threatening and that it was unclear exactly how many times Bradley may have been stabbed. The police report from the incident, though, lists Bradley as having been stabbed five times.
"The victim said he had been cut or stabbed multiple times by a known person. So, the case is under investigation right now," said Kirk. "There is a person of interest we need to speak to. As soon as we locate them, we will have more information."
Kirk would not say who it is that investigators are looking for, but did say that the incident is likely the result of a domestic dispute that occurred between Bradley and the suspected attacker on McArthur Drive in Valdosta between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday.
