Where you can buy alcohol on Sunday in South Georgia

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Tuesday's election results are changing the conversation about alcohol sales across South Georgia. Where residents may have previously asked, "Where can you buy alcohol?" the question becomes, "Where can't you buy alcohol?"

Some voter results were closer than others. Some were even decided by less than 15 votes.

Here is the breakdown:

Residents of Quitman can now purchase beer on Sunday.

According to numbers from the Secretary of State, 678 voters said "yes" to the measure, and 487 voters said "no."

Voters in Cordele approved liquor by-the-drink and liquor sold in package stores on Sunday by a large margin.

Cordele Sunday liquor by-the-drink:

59% - YES
41% - NO

Cordele Sunday liquor sold in package stores:

58: - YES
42% - NO

Crisp County also approved liquor by-the-drink and liquor sold in package stores on Sunday, but by a closer margin.

Crisp Co. Sunday liquor by-the-drink:

55% - YES
45% - NO

Crisp Co. Sunday liquor sold in package stores:

53% - YES
47% - NO

By perhaps the closest margin of all the alcohol votes in South Georgia, Grady County election results show voters approved liquor sold in package stores on Sunday.

Grady Co. Sunday liquor sold in package stores:

50.107% - YES (2,792 votes)
49.892% - NO (2,780 votes)

Seminole County approved liquor by-the-drink and liquor by-the-drink sales on Sunday in the election.

Seminole Co. liquor by-the-drink:

55% - YES
45% - NO

Seminole Co. Sunday liquor by-the-drink:

52% - YES
48% - NO

Donalsonville voters approved liquor by the drink, liquor by-the-drink on Sunday, and liquor sold in package stores on Sunday.

Donalsonville liquor by-the-drink:

52% - YES
48% - NO

Donalsonville Sunday liquor sold in package stores:

54% - YES
46% - NO

Donalsonville Sunday liquor by-the-drink:

51% - YES
49% - NO
