ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany man, on the run for nearly two and a half years, was captured in Macon this week and is now in the Dougherty County jail.
25-year-old Mario Atkins was arrested in 2012 off Sylvester Road, with two and a half pounds of marijuana, cocaine, and ecstasy. He got bail, but then fled.
He was charged with trafficking cocaine and marijuana and released on bond and went on the run.
This week he was captured in Macon, and yesterday returned to the Dougherty County jail, where he is now being held without bail.
