ASHBURN, GA (WALB) - Ashburn leaders are excited about two major construction projects underway.
Workers are busy building the city's first Walmart, which Chamber officials say will bring as many as 30 new jobs to the area.
There's also a new apartment complex being built with about 50 units.
"People are excited to see the town grow and move forward and that's exactly what we are doing and I think everyone is embracing that growth and moving with it," said Chamber of Commerce President Stevi Thompson.
Thompson says the new projects will open the door for more industry to move into Ashburn.
