South Georgia election workers spent Monday preparing for a busy election day.
Lee County supervisor of elections Veronica Johnson made sure the 10 precinct cases were filled with all the supplies and instructions poll workers need for Tuesday.
She's hoping voter turnout on election day is better than early voting. "We had about a 13 percent turnout for early voting. But we really need to get those numbers up a lot higher. With the U.S. Senate race and the Governor's race being so tight, every vote is critical," said Johnson.
