No charges after SWAT incident

ASHBURN, GA (WALB) - So far no charges have been filed against a man Ashburn police say had a gun and was holding a woman and two small children inside a home on Pine Knot Street Sunday.

The Tri-County swat team was called out to the home Sunday after police say a woman's father called 911 in fear his daughter would be harmed.

Police say the domestic violence call came in around 5:30 p.m. The swat team was called when no one came to the door. But the woman,

19-year-old Adaijah Rainey says this was all a misunderstanding. She didn't want to go on camera, but says no one was in danger.

Police say they were concerned about the children. "We knew from the 911 call that we had a six day old infant and a one year old infant inside the residence and that added to the urgency to make contact to dispel the issue and for the investigation to continue to determine everyone was okay," said Ashburn Police Chief Joe Saxon.

Kevian Green was taken into custody and remains in jail, but has not been charged.
