ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Democratic Candidate for Governor Jason Carter continued his last minute campaigning in Albany church Sunday.
Carter visited members at Second Mount Zion Baptist Church in Albany Sunday morning.
It was part of his "Georgia's Ready Tour" across the state.
Carter said the campaign for the election has been exciting and that voters want to see a change.
"There's so many folks who are ready for a new direction on education, on making sure that their government works for regular people again. Here in Southwest Georgia, Albany has been forgotten about by the current administration for so long that we need a change, said Jason Carter, Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate.
" I have two small children in the system and I'm very interested in seeing how he's going to improve our education system here in Dougherty County," Myra Randall, Carter Supporter.
"I think he can bring a wonderful change," Bessie Melton, Carter Supporter.
Carter will make visits in Columbus..Macon..Savannah..Augusta and Atlanta today. He'll face off with Governor Nathan Deal in the November fourth General Election.
