ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Election day is just around the corner and Democratic U.S. Senate Candidate, Michelle Nunn was in Albany doing some last minute campaigning.
Nunn and her family were at Carter's Grill and Restaurant in Downtown Albany. Supporters made signs and wore their walking shoes as they went door to door with Nunn encouraging people to get out and vote. Nunn says voters can change Washington by working together.
"That's been my message from the very beginning," said Michelle Nunn, (D) U.S. Senate Candidate. "I believe we need to bring our Georgia values to Washington of actually collaborating and breaking through the partisan gridlock and putting the country before parties and to actually get things done that matter in people's lives."
Nunn will also stop in Columbus, Savannah and Macon before the election. She'll face off with Republican Candidate, David Perdue in the November 4th election.
