Increased patrols in line for Halloween night

CORDELE, GA (WALB) - Many law enforcement agencies are stepping up patrols tonight to keep trick or treaters safe. Crisp County Sheriff Billy Hancock says he will have almost 20 deputies patrolling their busy neighborhoods.

"They've become very popular for people to go and trick or treat at and we actually put officers in those neighborhoods to work traffic and to help the traffic flow in and out of those subdivisions," said Hancock.

Sheriff Hancock passed out 500 reflective bags to children in Crisp County.
