APD says 'Boo' to crime

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Police are inviting the public to enjoy their Halloween celebration Friday night, for a safe alternative to Trick or Treating.

Police started organizing the huge boxes full of candy they have collected through donations. This will be APD's second annual Boo To Crime celebration.

Detective Lakesha Bryant said they promise games, music, and lots of candy for the kids to celebrate Halloween. And it will be a safe family event.

The Boo To Crime halloween event will be from 5:30 to 7:30 Friday, under the parking deck behind the Albany Police Department's LEC headquarters building on North Washington Street.
