MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - Colquitt Regional Medical Center is offering after-hours mammograms for the first time until 7 p.m. tonight.
The process only takes about 15-minutes, and most insurance companies completely cover mammograms.
Hospital officials say they wanted to offer an easy alternative for women who work.
"We're just trying to help out the ladies in the community come get their mammograms by doing mammograms after hours so we'll be doing them today until 7," said Mammographer Vickie Tucker.
The hospital may also consider offering after-hours mammograms each month, depending on tonight's turnout.
