VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - The Lowndes County Children's Advocacy Center received a $7,500 donation Wednesday morning.
AT&T presented a check to the center, which will be used to upgrade the center's communication system. Courtney Brinson, Regional Director of External Affairs for AT&T, said they are glad to be able to continue to help the center provide help for children in Valdosta and Lowndes County.
"The future of this community, the future of any community, is its children. Very often, these children find themselves in situations which are no fault of their own and they have no advocate," Brinson emphasized. "It's very critical that organizations such as the Children's Advocacy Center succeed and continue to be able to provide those services to the children."
AT&T has donated to the CAC for the past five years.
