ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Young patients at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital got to got Trick Or Treat Tuesday morning.
Hospital employees joined in the fun, dressing up in costumes and handing out candy.
About ten pediatric patients put on their Halloween costumes and collected candy.
Their patients are hospitalized for treatment for illnesses ranging from asthma to sickle cell.
Hospital employees made sure they did not miss Trick or Treating.
"You know they don't think they are going to be able to go home and they may not be able to trick or treat", said Child Life Specialist Amanda Lanier. "And they may not be able to dress up. So we just wanted to makes sure they were able to experience this holiday and still have the fun of it."
Employees in several departments in the hospital put on special matching costumes and admitted they had as much fun as the young patients.
