CRISP CO., GA (WALB) - The price at the pump continues to fall, and drivers are enjoying the change.
Gas prices have been dropping for several weeks now.
Right now the national average for a gallon of unleaded is $3.04. That's compared to $3.29 cents this time last year.
In Georgia, the average price for a gallon of unleaded has dropped below $3.00.
It's down to $2.92 cents, tthat's34 cents cheaper than this time last year.
Folks say they're excited to save some money.
"Yes I have. I've like them. They have lowered a lot," says Crisp County resident Daphine Wilson.
"I like how the difference is..gas is low..More gas for your car miles..I like that," says Crisp County resident Earl Wright.
The price for a gallon of unleaded at a gas station in Cordele was $2.79.
According to AAA, gas prices in Georgia have dropped over 30 cents in the last month.
