ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Police have arrested a woman they say stabbed a puppy with a kitchen knife on Friday.
Katrina Wilson, 34, was arrested and charged with felony cruelty to animals just after 10 a.m. Monday.
Officers said the stabbing happened Friday morning around 5 a.m. at a home on Clark Avenue in what they said was a domestic dispute.
The puppy is recovering at the Albany Humane Society after a veterinarian had to use 10 staples to close the wound.
Investigators said the puppy was stabbed in its hip during the altercation.
