A Thomasville man wanted in shooting incident turns himself in to police

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - A man wanted by Thomasville police in a shooting incident turns himself in to authorities.

Thomasville police have confirmed that Peter Davis turned himself in Saturday afternoon around 3 p.m.

He is charged with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm with commission of a crime and burglary.

Police say he was involved in a shooting at the Quick Buys convenience store at the intersection of Glenwood and Pinetree Boulevard in Thomasville Friday around 1 p.m. They say an altercation erupted, then Davis fired multiple shots.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Prior to the shooting, Davis stole a television and a computer from a Thomas County home, according to Thomasville police.
