ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A big musical festival in Albany kicked off Friday night.
Dozens of music lovers brought out their lawn chairs at the fairgrounds for the Big Pine Music Festival. The festival features 40 regional and local country, rock, and soul bands. There's also activities for kids. One man says he traveled from Richland, Georgia to hear his favorite Country Artists, John Anderson.
"Well I want to see John Anderson," said Ed Harris, visitor. "I haven't seen him in many years, but that's my kind of country. I'm here to see Highway 55 also, they really rock, but mostly because I'm a swinging John Anderson."
The festival continues Saturday, gates open at 11:00 a.m.
