Truck crashes into Albany home, driver hospitalized

Police say a truck crashed into a home at 1808 West Broad Avenue in Albany Friday night.

It happened a little after 9:15 p.m. Witnesses said a Ford Ranger jumped the curb before hitting the house.

Albany Fire Department, Police, and EMS were called to the scene.

"I went over to see was the guy ok and he was over in the passenger side," said witness Sharnell Enocher. "All he was concerned with was his truck ok, and it was not. It was totally damaged."

The driver of the truck, who was not named, complained about his hip hurting, according to witnesses. He was taken to the hospital.

The truck was later pulled away from the home by a tow truck.
