ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Dougherty County School police are still investigating where two students got marijuana before bringing it to school.
The elementary students are facing criminal charges, as well as school discipline after being found with less than an ounce of marijuana. Chief Troy Conley says he can remember this happening on about one or two occasions in the past 10 years.
"We continue to educate students at all levels about the problems and the do's and don'ts when it comes to illicit drug use and contrabands," said DCSS Police Chief Troy Conley.
Conley says the school has a zero tolerance policy when drugs are found in school.
