ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Dougherty County voters will join four other Georgia counties where residents will be able to vote early on Sunday for the first time this weekend.
In Albany, early voting has moved to the Riverfront Resource Center on Pine Avenue.
"There should really be no excuses because the options are all there," said Supervisor of Elections Ginger Nickerson. "You can vote by mail 45 days in advance. You have the three weeks of advanced voting. You have the one Saturday that is state mandated and you have the one Sunday that was voted on by the board."
Early voting takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and one until five on Sunday in Dougherty County.
Early voting in Georgia will end next Friday.
