One city in South Georgia dedicated an entire day to supporting breast cancer. Thursday was 'Pink Out' day in Sylvester.
The day was started after one city employee had two family members diagnosed with the cancer. Everyone was encouraged to wear pink and even blue too.
"The Sylvester, Georgia pink out day includes the schools, community, businesses, everyone to wear pink and blue on this day. Pink and blue because men have have breast cancer too," said Event Coordinator Sharon Lyles.
