Two arrested, third sought in Cuthbert shooting

CUTHBERT, GA (WALB) - The GBI says they are looking for a man in connection to a shooting in a Cuthbert bar.

Randolph County Sheriff s Office responded to a shooting at Louie's Bar 10 days ago, saying there were multiple shooters and one victim. 

Sonya Byrd-Jones, age 47, of Coleman sustained a non-life-threatening injury during the shooting. She was treated at a local hospital and released.

DeCarlos Byrd, age 28, of Hampton, VA. and Maurice Pinkins, age 28, of  Cuthbert, were arrested and charged with Reckless Conduct, Pointing a Gun at Another, and Discharge of a Firearm near a Public Highway. Pinkins was also charged with False Statements. Byrd and Pinkins are in jail.

The GBI has multiple arrest warrants for DeAndrace Brookins, age 25, of Cuthbert.  Brookins is known to visit the Albany and Cuthbert areas. 

Anyone having contact with Brookins or knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact the Randolph County Sheriff's Office at 229/732-2525 or GBI Special Agent Matt Marchant at 229-777-2080.
