LOS ANGELES, CA (WALB) -

Elijah Wood, Sir Peter Jackson, and a host of other characters from the Lord of the Rings movies star in a new safety video for Air New Zealand.

The airline unveiled the instructional video on YouTube Wednesday, and will be progressively rolled out across its fleet.

It's the second time the Lord of the Rings franchise has been featured in Air New Zealand's safety videos. In 2012, the airline made its first video inspired by The Hobbit films.

The airline said in a release that it hopes the video will inspire more people to visit 'Middle-earth.'

Air New Zealand's safety videos have featured Bear Grylls, Betty White, and Richard Simmons, collecting more than 30 million hits online.

The final film in The Hobbit trilogy, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies hits theaters in December.
