TURNER CO., GA (WALB) - Another south Georgia law enforcement agency now has body cameras for their officers in the field.
Deputies with the Turner County Sheriff's Office are using these new on-officer body cameras.
The cameras are made to be mounted on the side of sunglasses.
The cameras can record any activity that happens outside the lens of the mounted cameras in patrol cars.
The body cameras can be helpful in any situation.
“This camera audio and video's everything that's going on that we see that the officer himself sees,” said Ellis Keen.
The Turner County Sheriff's Office has two body cameras and wants to buy more.
The two cameras were paid for with seized drug money.
