New study shows Albany ranks top ten in certain political spectrum

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A new study shows Albany ranks in the top ten among a certain political spectrum.

Livability.com has ranked the best cities for Liberals, Conservatives and Centrist.

Albany ranked number five on the "best Cities for Centrists" list. Centrists are considered to have their political views in the middle.

City Commissioner Roger Marietta says he's a Centrists and that there needs to be more in Washington.

“I think Centrists have an ability to work with both sides of the extremes and if you look at what's going on in Washington right now, Washington, D.C. I think we do have a need for more Centrists in Washington because the two extremes are polarizing the entire country and they're not getting the job done,” said Roger Marietta, City Commissioner.

Spokane Valley, Washington came in at number one..Gainesvillle, Florida and Boise, Idaho also made the top ten list.
