Albany police on lookout for hit and run driver

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany police are on the lookout for a hit and run driver who hit a motorcyclists over the weekend.

Letito Adams says she was riding her motorcycle in the 200 block of Whispering Pines Road Saturday afternoon when she was trying to avoid a car attempting to pass her.

The car side-swiped Adams causing her to lose control of her motorcycle and she was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

Police have no description of the vehicle or driver.

    The passenger of a car that caught on fire Friday morning is OK. A woman said she was driving to work on GA Highway 300 when she took the Slappey Boulevard South exit.
