SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) - Dozens of South Georgia Boy Scouts end their weekend rally with a Zombie Mud Run.
Sunday morning, Boy Scout Explorer and Venture crews from Lee,Tift and Lowndes County took part in a Mud' N Blood Zombie Run at Camp Osborn in Sylvester.
Both boys and girls ages 11 to 18 ran and swam through a three mile obstacle course to get away from zombies. The run is part of the camps first "OVER 2014: Osborn's Venture and Explorer Rally."
"I was either gone come in first or second place. I was going for first," said Anterian Thorton, explorer.
"I learned that you should never quit and keep going, " said Xavier Fountain, explorer.
"I think I have the drive to do something, if you're able to tell yourself you can do it then you can, and I sure did it. I kept up with all of the guys," Callie Graver, adventurer.
Over the weekend, the scouts also competed in a shooting range, fatal vision DUI simulation course, rock climbing and wilderness survival training.
