ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Dozens of youth are taking a stand against violence. Kids as young as two years old marched from Radium Springs Road to Zion Pure Life Church on Moultrie Road chanting and holding signs for the “Youth Against Violence” march. This is the 13th year for the march. Organizers say they want young people to know violence is not the answer to solving problems.

That's what it's all about, our youth knowing that hey violence is not the way, violence is not the answer,” said Anthony Trappier, Member.

"There's better things for youth to do rather than being in the streets, and doing the wrong things, doing drugs,” said Teraycia Lovett, Member.“They have a more positive way to take."

The march ended with a cookout and a robotics presentation from students at Albany Tech.
