ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Cancer Coalition of South Georgia is preparing to stomp out cancer.
Organizers spent today setting up for the second annual "Cancer Stomp."
It will start with a one mile walk to honor survivors and remember those who lost their fight.
The walk will end with carnival activities, including a "kiss Cancer Goodbye Booth."
" Everything that we do as the Cancer Coalition stays in South Georgia. We serve 32 counties and all the money that we'll raise for Cancer Stomp is going to stay right here in our communities to help people in need," Casey Perkins.
Cancer Stomp runs from 9 to one Saturday at Meredyth Place.
