SUMTER CO., GA (WALB) - A Sumter County woman sustained minor injuries after her vehicle rolled 3 times into a ditch Tuesday.
GSP says Susan Sprieght was driving too fast for rainy conditions south on US 19 north of Americus, just before 9 a.m.
Sprieght then hydroplaned and lost control of her vehicle, before slamming into a rock on the side of the road, causing the truck to roll 3 times.
"It continued to travel south and hit a tire as well on its left front tire. Then, it continued to roll three times until it came to it's final rest," said TFC David Fretwell, Georgia State Patrol.
GSP says Sprieght walked away from the accident with only minor injuries. She was taken to Phoebe Sumter for treatment.
