ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany man pleads guilty to dealing cocaine, and leading drug agents on a wild police chase through a South Albany neighborhood.
Roderick Ferrell pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and felony fleeing to elude police.
He was sentenced to serve 5 years in prison, and then serve 15 years on probation. He is banned from Dougherty and Lee County during that probation period.
Ferrell admitted that in September 2013 he was driving this car, running at high speed from drug agents. On West Whitney prosecutors say Denevious Morman, the passenger, bailed out of the car and ran into his home, while Ferrell drove away. Ferrell was arrested one month later.
