ALBANY, GA (WALB) - With less than a month until the November election... the candidates in Georgia's two top races will debate the issues tonight in Perry.
Supporters from both parties are also headed to the Georgia National Fairgrounds to back their candidates.
That includes a group of 45 Republicans who left by chartered bus for the debates late Tuesday afternoon.
Southwest Georgia GOP regional director Karen Kemp said. "Going primarily we believe it is important to show Nathan Deal and David Perdue that southwest Georgia appreciates their commitment."
The U.S. Senate debate between David Perdue and Michelle Nunn will start at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday followed by the debate in the Governor's race between Governor Nathan Deal and Jason Carter.
