SASSER, GA (WALB) - It was messy morning commute for drivers on Highway 82 in Sasser, but luckily, there were no accidents reported.
A crew spent Tuesday morning cleaning up chicken guts off of the roadway after a semi-truck lost its load around 7:30.
A Terrell County deputy says the driver slammed on his breaks to avoid a Ford Taurus that moved into his lane.
The force was enough to send the chicken guts smashing through the back window and into the driver's cabin.
Traffic was slowed for rush hour traffic but is now clear and moving.
Charges are pending against the driver of the car. There were no injuries reported.
