A Dougherty County school teacher officially lost her job Monday.
The board approved the recommendation of a tribunal several weeks ago to fire Felicia Ezeamii for failing to meet for failing to improve her teaching skills after being given specific goals.
" It's not a matter that any of this is fun for us, but our ethics call for us to put the best people we can around students and we'll never get any better if we don't have good teachers in every classroom. My role is too see that that happens as close as possible,” Dr. David Mosely, Superintendent
Ezeamii was a teacher at Merry Acres Middle School.
