Tifton police search for shooting suspect

TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

Tifton Police need your help finding a shooting suspect.

Police say Talmadge Poole is suspected of shooting Michael Chandler Jr. in the back after a fight at the South College Mobile Home Park on September 26th.

Investigators say Poole is one of several people involved in the fight and witnesses identified him as the shooter.

“We been looking for him every since the 26th and we haven't been able to locate him yet. We do believe he is still in the general area, maybe Turner County, Tift County,” said Sgt. Dorminey McCrae.

Poole faces aggravated assault charges. The shooting victim is now out of the hospital.
