ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Recreation and Parks teamed up with Miss Kutie's Boutique to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
They held their second annual "44 Shades of Pink" seminar at the Lockett Station Community Center. Breast cancer survivors and fighters heard words of encouragement from Albany State University's Director of Admissions, Leslie Charles, who is also a breast cancer survivor.
"I'm here to just encourage the women that God is a miracle worker and that there is healing and know that you can be sustained after having breast cancer," said Leslie Charles, Guest Speaker.
Bra fitting specialists from Dillard's helped women find their correct bra sizes and Mary Kay officials provided facials.
