TURNER CO., GA (WALB) -

One of WALB's Most Wanted is on his way back to South Georgia.

Turner County Sheriff Andy Hester said 42-year-old Jason Semrau is being driven back to Turner County.

Semrau was captured in Colorado in September.

Investigators said he is this man caught on camera breaking into a Dougherty County home.

He's also accused of burglarizing homes in Terrell and Turner Counties.

Sheriff Hester said Semrau is a danger to the community and it's important to keep him behind bars.

"He's ran (sic) every time we've got after him. And other counties have too. And so his intention was not to stop. And he had made statements that he wasn't going to stop. He was going to run and that puts people's lives in danger out on the highway. Luckily Colorado was able to get him," said Sheriff Hester.

Semrau was wanted on a probation warrant out of Turner County where he's originally from.

He was arrested while trying to sell merchandise at a pawn shop in Aurora, Colorado.
