GRADY COUNTY, GA (WALB) - A man wanted in Nashville, Tennessee is in the Grady County Jail awaiting extradition.

Cairo Police arrested Richardo Zachary Jones for theft by taking.

There are three warrants out for his arrest in Nashville.

Grady County Sheriff's Office is working to get him out of Georgia and back on Tennessee ground.

Grady County Sheriff Harry Young said, "When you take oath to protect and serve, it doesn't mean just to protect and serve within your county. That means you protect and serve anywhere.  And that's what we do."

Grady County Deputies are now working with Nashville Police to determine how they will extradite Jones to the Tennessee state line.

They're hoping to get him there in the next couple days.
