LEE CO., GA (WALB) - Lee County residents are dropping off unused or unwanted prescription drugs.
People dropped off their prescription pills in a drop box at the Lee County Sheriff's Office. It's part of the D-E-A National Take Back Initiative. One man who was dropping off some pills says it's a great idea.
"I think it's a great idea, because you know a lot of kids are on prescription medication now," said Mike Morgans. "That leads to something even worse and they're going to end up incarcerated here. We don't need anymore kids in jail."
People can drop off pills anytime at the Lee County Sheriff's Office.
