BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) - The Bainbridge High School Band will represent Georgia this Saturday at the Rehobeth Marching Band Festival.
The Bearcat Band's instruments are all packed up and ready to head to Alabama.
Band Director Paschal Ward said they're honored to be named the exhibition band for the second time.
Even though it's near the beginning of the school year, Ward said they're ready.
Ward said, “They better be. Yeah, I think they're nervous, but once it starts the butterflies go away. They've done a tremendous job this year. It's a pleasure to work with them.”
The Bearcat Band will also be the only Georgia high school marching band to perform at next year's Fiesta Flambeau Parade in San Antonio.
