VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Two suspected marijuana dealers are now off the streets in Valdosta.

26 year-old Ronald Loveday and 33 year-old Julian Jones were both arrested Wednesday. Loveday was arrested around 12:30 at a home in the 1100 block of Old Statenville Road. Deputies found a little less than two ounces of marijuana individually bagged inside the house.

Jones was arrested in the 1700 block of Ricardo Street. He had about a pound of marijuana in his car and a firearm.

"Good not only to get them off the street for a short time at least, but also to identify those people so that in the future we know, 'hey, this is a person we've caught before wantin' to distribute, so we'll watch 'em a little more closely,'' said Valdosta Police Department Lieutenant Aaron Kirk.

26 year-old Michael Robinson was also busted last Thursday for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
