ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Westover High School principal has been cleared of any wrongdoing in a grade changing scandal that happened in 2013.
The Professional Standards Commission said it will not take any disciplinary action against Principal William Chunn.
A letter to Chunn from the commission said the case has been closed and his file has been expunged.
Chunn says he approved grade changes for more than 120 freshman, which is allowed.
Chunn, an assistant principal and another teacher were disciplined for the grade changes within the school system.
Kevin Fretwell, who resigned at the end of last year, recently lost his certification for giving the student's records to the media.
