ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Victims say an argument over a cigarette touched off a drive-by shooting in South Albany that jeopardized nine people, including many children.
There are multiple bullet holes in the walls and windows of duplexes in the 700 block of Burke Avenue.
Police say just before 10:00 last night, several shots were fired from a blue Volvo or Mercedes that drove by.
The victims said they were too scared to go on camera, but told us it sounded like dozens of shots were fired.
They hit the floor and huddled in a bathroom.
No one is in custody.
