Colquitt Sheriff wants William Vickers

MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - The Colquitt County Sheriff's Office is looking for William Keith Vickers. Deputies believe Vickers is responsible for the theft of $80,000 worth of stainless steel metal from a cabbage farm in the 800 block of Moultrie Lenox Road in Colquitt County, recently. Arrest warrants have been issued for Vickers on 4 theft charges.

The equipment owner found some of the items at Can Man Recycling in Moultrie. Witnesses there identified Vickers as the man who sold the metal to the business.

"They have been able to locate some of this material that was stolen," said Lt. Shawn Bostick, Chief Investigator. "The record of sale indicated that Keith Vickers was the one that had sold the items."

Investigators say they have also reviewed surveillance footage at the businesses.

If you can help the search for Vickers, call Lt. Shawn Bostick, Chief Investigator, Colquitt County Sheriff's Office at (229) 616-7460.
