ALBANY, GA (WALB) - One of the biggest acts in the south has made its way back to Albany, the Cole Brothers Circus of the Stars will be opening tonight.

Performers have been traveling across coast since March, beginning in Florida.

Marketing Director Mario Vitali is excited to be back in Albany, he says he has made some really great connections here and always feels welcomed by the community.

"And I've met a lot of good people, a lot of good friends." Vitali said. " We'll get grandparents that were here when they were a kid, then they bought their kids when they were small and now they're bringing their grandkids. So, its really exciting."

This year visitors can look forward to seeing some old favorites such as the Ponce Family from Guatemala, aerial ballet performers as well as fierce white tigers and elephants.

For those who are thrill-seekers, they will have a human cannonball burst out the largest cannon in the world.

Vitali says it's very rewarding to be a part of such a special memory for audiences.

The show starts at 4:30 PM and 7:30 PM Monday and Tuesday at the Exchange Club Fairgrounds in Albany.
