TIFT CO., GA (WALB) -

A Tift County woman needs your help recovering a tractor stolen right off her property over the weekend. She's now offering a reward for its return.

Tractor marks are still visible where thieves took a $20,000 John Deere 5075 E Tractor from Bobbie Singh's property on Upper Ty Ty Road.

Singh says a neighbor saw the tractor Saturday morning before 8:00 o'clock, but noticed it was gone several hours later.

"The neighbor went by on this dirt road and said that he noticed it out between 7:30 or 8 o'clock, but when it came closer to noon it was gone,” said Bobbie Singh, Theft Victim.

The family has had the tractor for over a year, using it to clear the land on their 36 acre property where they're building a new home.

Singh says since the theft it's been hard to sleep at night.

" It's just disturbing to know that someone came in daylight hours to a property that is not wooded out here, it's quite open and they just came out here got on a tractor and drove it off to a dirt road," said Singh.

Singh is also using social media outlets like facebook and Tift County Junking to try and recover the tractor.

"We had a lot of locals comment and we're just hoping to have it found,” said Singh.

They're offering a $2000 reward for its return.

"I believe this is not a one man job,” said Singh. “I just hope that the reward that we are offering will be initiative enough for someone to come forward and claim the reward and get us our tractor back."

She's not sure how the thieves got the tractor off her property. The Tift County Sheriff's Office is investigating.

Anyone with information should contact the Tift County Sheriff's office or the Singh family at 229-567-1429.
