ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A play features one woman's challenges with multiple sclerosis, and how her law enforcement career helped her overcome some obstacles.
On Saturday, folks gathered at Darton College to see a play called Trooper, “The story of Colette Jenkins."
Jenkins says the play is a love story that shows her growing up, and facing challenges.
It talks about when she's officially diagnosed with MS, and decides to go to trooper school.
Jenkins says the play demonstrates how faith can help you overcome any challenge.
“More and more about making people aware of their bodies and aware of the diseases that are here, and you can trust God that he can see you thorough and that's what this is all about,” says Founder Colette Jenkins.
Saturday night was the premier, and they hope to have more showings in the near future.
