VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Three juveniles have been arrested in connection with the burglary of a Dollar General in Lowndes County.
Lowndes County Sheriff's investigators said the three juveniles, two high schoolers and one middle schooler, were caught on camera during the burglary, and later identified. They were arrested at their respective schools Thursday morning.
"With the cooperation of a nearby business, our detectives were able to obtain some video surveillance footage that showed the three walking toward the Dollar General. Using that footage, we were able to identify the three people," explained Lowndes County Sheriff's Office Lieutenant Stryde Jones.
The juveniles have been charged with burglary. Investigators also determined that the three lived nearby the business. The juveniles stole several cell phones from the store, all of which were recovered and returned to the store.
