TALLAHASSEE, FL (WALB) - Florida State University officials say Seminole's quarterback Jameis Winston will 'undergo internal discipline' after he made lewd comments about women.

Winston will also be withheld from competition for the first half of the home game against Clemson.

The university handed down the punishment in a joint statement Wednesday by Interim President Dr. Garrett S. Stokes and Director of Athletics Stan Wilcox.

Several students tweeted Winston standing on campus Tuesday, shouting a lewd comment.
